About

What is Goodfit?

Goodfit helps organizations discover and compare service providers suited to their projects. Today, Goodfit is a research-stage directory; project intake and automated matching are still being developed.

What this directory covers

The Goodfit.org directory focuses on providers with non-profit and public-sector experience. Goodfit.org is part of the wider Goodfit Europe project (Goodfit.eu).

Non-profit and public-sector work has its own gravity. Budgets are fixed, procurement rules apply, and someone on a board has to sign off. Plenty of agencies add one discounted charity project to the portfolio and start calling it sector experience; we would rather show who has delivered under those constraints more than once.

How the Goodfit domains fit together

Goodfit is one catalogue of providers, published through a set of domains. Each one narrows the same records a different way: a country domain to the providers based there, a specialism domain to the kind of work they do. A Rotterdam studio doing brand work turns up on Goodfit.nl and on Goodfit.design, and both point at the same profile.

How these listings are built

An organization can submit its own company, or claim a profile that already exists. Where neither has happened, we compile a starting profile from what is currently shown on the company’s website.

This is early work, so a profile can be incomplete or out of date; support explains how to get one corrected or removed.
